Brigmid (pronounced "Breed") is a childhood companion of Maeve and her cousin (on Maeve's mother's side).

Brighid has become involved with the Dan'nathur ritual group, and also The Gilled. Her symbol is the sea-horse.

In the Autumn of 1098, she almost died in a suicide attempt which she made to be with Maeve's spirit.

At the Moots of 1100 AF, she married Rhishart Gunnarsman and left Dan'nathur to be in the Odinsheim Guard with him.
