The various factions are, or have been, led by;

Lord General Gunnar Smoothtongue

[gunnar] Gunnar was raised to the position of Lord General in the spring of 1097 and became King after the Moots of 1098.

Lord General Thorvald Silvervoice

Thorvald Elevated by circumstances from the life of a simple (but successfull) trader to run the Wolves in 1096, with the aid of Aleda and Gunnar. In early 1097, he had an altercation with the Grand Master Mage Floris-Brand which resulted in sanctions upon the Wolves by the White Mage.

Lord General Thorfinn McBeth

 He was the Jarl Of Orkneyar and part of the Wolves faction, but at the start of The Gathering of 1092, he ran off to be leader of the Bear faction.He claimed to take the ownership of Orkneyjar with him, adding fuel to the long Wolf/Bear dispute over those Islands

Lord General Feohtan

 lead the Gryphons until 1093 when an unfortunate decapitation in the midst of the Battle ended his life.

Queen Elspeth

 Lady E.K. Lady E.K. Speaker of The Harts, Lord General Regent Of Eaton, is the niece of Corvus and widow of Elias Karlennon, Lord General of Eaton (in Northault), who died in The Battle of 1092 which was meant to be an honour battle to decide his guilt or innocence regarding the murder of Alam Harlis. She herself was also accused of murder in that year. By 1093, she had given birth to a son, also to be called Elias who is heir apparent to the title of Lord General. She asked the Lord Generals to accept her as protector of Nothault, until her son came of age. Due to who her uncle was, this caused some dispute amongst the Lord Generals. In 1094, half of the Lions broke away from Corvus and took her as their figure head for 1094. When you come to think of it, that woman's bloody trouble!! In late 1095, she selected Earl Martyn Tarragon of the Hunters to be her new husband. Together, they are the Duke & Duchess of Winchester.

Gustav became head of the Vipers and ruler of Teutonia after the defeat of King Frederick Kruger and the Cobras. Gustav

Lord General Figticious 'Figg' Figmentii

Fig Faeg ruled all of the Dragons until Cymrja gained 'home rule' under Katrina in the 1092/93 era. He now led the Erin section of the Dragons Faction. He died in a duel with Lachlan,one of his own Paladins, at the Gathering of 1096 AF.

Giz a job mate, I'm not a bad girl really 		Katrina led the Cmyrja section of the Dragons Faction, until Satûn carried her off to Hell to be his bride in 1095! She was saved after her 'wedding' in 1096. She did not desire to regain her former position but has been declared an Elder Stateman of the Dragons.

Jaddvor Erland
Jaddvor Also Duke of Bristol. Had been 2IC to Corvus for many years. Became leader after the loss of Edmund Blackadder. After the defeat of the Lions by the Harts in their civil war, at The Gathering of 1096 he chose to return to the Plane Of Avalon. He had lived there for many years and returned to Edreja in 1092. Due to the strange difference in the passge of time in Avalon, he had known the previous Pengrangon, one Arthur.

Rhino of The Children Of Malar

 Took control of the Lions at the end of 1096, aided by the Prince Bishop and Josephine.

The Celtic Queens

 The 'three queenies' run the Bears aided by 'War Leader' Lord Wraith Buchannon.

Council Of Matron Mothers

 This was formed to replace the previous Faction Leader command structure (as used by other other factions) at the '96 Moots. It is currently led by Matrom Mother Saravey of House Gereshen.

Lord General Rothgar

 (Or possibley Rothcae ?) Is/Was the leader of the various mercenary groups. Alleged 'hardest' of all the normal (non-supernatural) NPCs (aided by many magical trinkets) Disappeared in 1095.

Lord Wolf

 This is the more common reference for Lars Tjorson, Lord Commander of The Company of the White Wolf, Lord of Norsca, Lord General of The Wolves. Also Defender Of The Ancestoral Lands.

He was supported and advised by the Viceroy, Lady Tigre who managed much of the factions infrastructure. ( Lord Wolf and Lady Tigre were reported to have been sucked into the void in early 1096. )

Lord Protector Corvus

 The quasi-monarchical ruler of Albion and now protector of Northault, Lord General of The Lions. His wife is the Lady Roxanne. His second in command was Jaddvor Erland of Bristol.
( In early 1096, Corvus and Roxanne gave up control of the Lions to go and look for one of their lost children in early 1096. )

Lord General Holbon

 is the leader of the Gryphons Faction. The loosing of heads appears to have been taken up as a tradition by various Gryphon leaders, most fervantly by this one, who has He has a helmet which was held onto his shoulders by Ritual Magic, so that he would not get his head cut off again!
( In early 1096, he upset the Violet Master Mage and this magic failed... )

Matron Mother Vindryss

 Her Arachnessence, The Valsharess Vindryss Naxos De F'ey was the head of the 'ruling' house of the Tarantulas Faction. Summoned by Lolth in 1096
